Summary of Duties
? Supervise production processes from materials preparation, cutting preparation, milling operations, assembly, finishing, packing to the Finished Product and all activities related thereto as well as site installations.
? Re-structure production planning and scheduling, capacity assessment and manpower allocation, material requirement planning and woodworking machineries and processes.
? Do the estimates and costing (manufacturing process, materials requirement (BOM), Man hour's requirement, site installation and over head cost).
? Plans and manages production to ensure that all products are completed and shipped on time.
? Coordinates with other support groups like Industrial Engineering, QC and QA, Product Development, Purchasing, Human Resource, IT, Health and Safety for maximum productivity, quality and safety.
? Reviews and analyze production and quality performance report generated by Industrial Engineering and QC and initiate immediate actions for improvements.
? Do the cutting list and material requirement of each project before execution.
? Confers with Product Development, Planning, Industrial Engineering, QC/QA, concerning new product design tooling and equipment, space, material, manpower, quality and other requirement to ensure efficient production methods and systems are in place prior to mass production.

? Provide machine lay out, production process flow, production planning and control procedure, material stock and control.

? Established the run rate for production such that production order can be reasonably served on time while attaining optimum utilization for the company's manufacturing resources (Materials, Machine, Methods and Manpower).
? Established standard man-hour and machine hour requirement to all standard products and provide studies to minimize processing time.
? Ensure that the production shop floor production drawing / bill are correct and provide cutting list and program before releasing it to the production.
? Checks and make necessary steps to correct the improper machining operation such as cutting, ripping, planning, sizing and edging, profiling, routing, shaping, boring and veneering.
? Educate operators regarding proper machine operation, machine care, safety, product quality and cost savings.
? Checks and oversees production schedules and make necessary improvements within the area of responsibility.
? Keep abreast of solving problem that encounter during the course of production and make necessary step to come up the best results.
? Ensures that hardware's requirement is available at stock.
Participates in setting up preventive maintenance system which provide
regular schedule inspection and services of all production machinery,
tools and facility equipment.
Supervise emergency breakdown repair of plant equipment.
Coordinate with the production head to carry out repair with minimum
disruptions.
Personally inspects all production equipment to determine reasons for
breakdown and means to prevent recurrence.
