Italy - Sassari University offers PhD Grant on Sustainable forestry and Construction timber in Sardegna, Italy
In autumn 2012 a three years PhD position will open at Sassari University in Nuoro. Contributions to the project are expected to consider questions ranging from a specifically tailored inventory of the available resource, to the evaluation of the potential sustainable resource, to the design of experimental operational plans implementing the idea, and in the end, focusing on methodologies, procedures and technologies that are required for any of these levels.

How to Apply: Please note that the candidate will need to submit an application to the University of Sassari (in around September 2012) and to come for a written test and an interview in Nuoro, on 9 October 2012. More information on that will be provided on Sassari University web-site (www.uniss.it). Interested candidates are invited to email prof. Scotti (scotti@uniss.it) at their earliest convenience, enclosing a letter of intents, their CV, and a reference letter.
