Suffolk, 8 August: A licencing agreement has been signed enabling a forestry & environment information company to sell TIMBERWeb Memberships in the Czech Republic.

Senozaty-headquartered Lesnictvi.cz is a leading information source for the Czech forestry sector and provides advice to Czech companies seeking to market their products using the Internet. It has been licenced to sell TIMBERWeb Full, Associate and Information Memberships to the Czech market.

The company was founded by director Vit Skala, a specialist in forest management planning and a member of the National Forestry Committee in Prague. He is also a graduate of the Brno-based University of Agriculture Forestry Department.

Keith Richmond, Chairman and CEO of TIMBERWeb, said: “We believe Mr Skala’s experience within the Czech forestry industry will be extremely useful as we continue to expand into eastern European markets. We would welcome similar partnerships with individuals with suitable expertise in other countries in future where TIMBERWeb does not have a primary advantage.”
